Show Picker Club is a TV-show and movie tracker. We use SMS for one thing: sending login verification codes.
SMS is optional. You may add a mobile number to your account to receive login codes by text. Members who don't provide a number sign in with an emailed code, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google instead, so using the service does not require consenting to SMS. The consent language presented when adding a number reads:
Consent to receive these messages is not a condition of using Show Picker Club, and there is nothing for sale on the service.
Message frequency varies and depends on how often you sign in by text — typically a handful of messages per month at most. We send nothing else: no alerts, no marketing, no reminders.
Show Picker Club does not charge for messages. Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier.
We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for marketing. Phone numbers are used only to deliver login codes. See the full Privacy Policy.
